Trinidad Coastal Ambassador Program

Trinidad Coastal Ambassador Training

Registration for this program is currently full, but there are always opportunities to be an Ambassador for the Trinidad coast!
  • Volunteer at our monthly Stewardship Work Days to help us maintain safe and reliable public access to our trails and beachs and contribute to restoring our coastline to a balanced and healthy ecosystem.
  • Whenever you head out to the beach, pick up some trash!
  • Membership and monetary donations are a valuable contribution to all of our programing including the Trinidad Coastal Ambassador training and our Land Stewardship program.
  • Do you have other skills and passions to offer? Let us know!

About the Trinidad Coastal Ambassador Training
The Land Trust is excited to offer free ambassador trainings up to twice a year. The new and improved Trinidad Coastal Ambassador Program will introduce participants to the unique Trinidad area, the work our non-profit does and will inform participants on all the ways to engage as a volunteer Ambassador; from monitoring seabirds and pinnipeds, to leading Stewardship Workdays and guiding educational walks. These multi-week programs will be educational and hands-on, combining Zoom sessions and field trips to coastal properties with the goal of empowering leadership and stewardship of our coastline. Graduated Ambassadors are expected to be active volunteers with the Land Trust, donating 3 hours a month to support our coastal education and stewardship programs. Find the detailed program schedule and expectations here.

If you love learning about the coast and sharing your knowledge with others, then this program is for you!
