Parker Creek Trail to Old Home Beach in Trinidad

Old Home Beach (previously known as Indian Beach) is a magnificent beach along Trinidad Bay in the city of Trinidad. It is often sheltered from wind and is accessible from walking trails in town. The Axel Lindgren Memorial Trail steps guide you to the beach from the bluff vista at the intersection of Trinity and Edwards St. (where the memorial lighthouse once was).
The Parker Creek trail is another access to this beach, found at the end of Parker Creek Lane and also via Wagner St. in Trinidad. The Land Trust hold ownership of a forested parcel along the Parker Creek Trail. The Land Trust also holds private property conservation easements that allow for public access along the trail to the beach. The city of Trinidad owns and or maintains a majority of this trail system.
In December 2018, Land Trust volunteers installed a new section of trail steps near the bottom of the Parker Creek Trail. Thanks to our friendly neighbors Mike and Cheryl for supporting this small trail project.
