Beach wheelchair available for free check out! 

The Trinidad Coastal Land Trust is committed to providing the best possible public access to our local coastal areas. The unstable nature of beach trails, however, presents a substantial challenge to those with limited mobility. To this end, TCLT provides free public rental of our beach wheelchair to make sandy travel easy and fun! We all connect with our natural areas in different ways, but tools like this ensure that people of all abilities can experience nature up close and personal.

With balloon-like wheels, the chair can be pushed easily across the sand with the help of a friend. The most popular destinations for the chair are Clam Beach, State Beach, and Moonstone Beach due to their gentle slopes and easy access from the parking lot. The chair can be picked up at the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust office and personally transported for use at local beaches. Reservations are required.
