Scenic Drive Public Access Improvements
Trinidad Coastal Land Trust is working to improve public access at its properties along scenic drive.
We are in the process of implementing the public access improvements funded by the State Coastal Conservancy. Improvements will include ADA accessible parking and path, restroom area, picnic tables, benches and interpretive signing. More about Houda Point.
As the new landowner and property steward in 2019, TCLT will be starting a planning process in 2020 to design access and safety improvements to the trails and visitor areas at Luffenholtz Beach and Tepona Point, with funding from the Wildlife Conservation Board. More about Luffenholts Beach.
Little River Trail Project
The Project Team, including Trinidad Coastal Land Trust (TCLT), and coordinated by the Redwood Community Action Agency, has been assembled and we will be kicking off the project with community outreach, technical studies, environmental analysis, and engineering design for the Project Approval and Environmental Document phase of the Little River CA Coastal Trail project which will connect pedestrians and bicyclists from Clam Beach to Westhaven. The future trailhead will be on TCLT’s 15-acre parcel at the end of Scenic Drive above Moonstone Beach. More about Little River Trail.
