More to explore!
Our small town of Trinidad and surrounding coastline has a lot of interesting history and places to explore. Take a photo of Trinidad’s Memorial Lighthouse, recently moved down to the Trinidad Harbor and the Trinidad Head Loop trailhead. The Trinidad State Beach picnic area (located directly north of Trinidad School) has a restroom and forest trails to the beach. The Humboldt State University Marine Lab has a touch tank for kids and is open to visitors during posted hours. The Trinidad Museum has beautiful, historical exhibits and is located next to the Trinidad Library and our land trust's Simmons Gallery. Also, enjoy browsing a diverse array of professional arts and crafts at the Trinidad Art Gallery, selling works from twenty local artisans and the adjacent 'Picker's Paradise' antiques garage. Visit these places and websites for more info.
