Adapting to Covid-19
Ben and Carol are working mainly from home, taking turns to check the mail and office to perform essential tasks. Tim continues to help steward our properties while maintaining social distance. Amy, our office manager, is taking leave until June 1, to be at home to be with her daughter who is doing school work via distance learning.
It has been a challenge to try and educate the community about the need to social distance on trails and on the beach, but we have done our best to work with the sheriff to encourage folks to avoid busy times and keep at least 6 feet apart. Our TCLT volunteer board and committee members continue to meet via Zoom and we all are getting a little more adept at virtual meetings.
We are closely monitoring the new phases for slowly opening up activities and look forward to holding walks and stewardship days as soon as we know we can do so safely and in accordance with county guidelines. Until then, read on to learn more about what we are working on.
