Sunset Naming Ceremony and A Circle of Gratitude at Houda Point
Saturday Sept. 16th, 6:30pm-8pm
Land Trust supporters, donors and members are invited to join us the early evening of Saturday September 16th at our Houda Point (Camel Rock) ocean vista property (on the bluff near the parking lot) for a special inaugural annual ceremony appreciating the land and the people who support our conservation efforts. This meaningful outdoor event will be a time to reflect on loved ones, place, the coastal beauty and to honor those who have made a donation to help the land trust acheive its mission of protection coastal land in perpetuity for public benefits and access for all.
Land trust member and donor names and the names of individuals’ who’ve had a donation made ‘in honor of’ or ‘in memory of’ will be read aloud, around a ceremonial fire, with blessings and the intention of appreciating people and place. There will be live harp music and time for reflection. We welcome our members, donors and all guests to share in this special ocean sunset event.
Reservations are appreciated. Please R.S.V.P. and call our office with any questions. All donations and names received by September 12th will be included. Finger foods and refreshments will be served following the reading. There are no restrooms available on site. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
