Saturday November 4th from 2 to 5pm
The Land Trust and Civic Club announce a memorial service honoring the life of Dr. Chi-wei Lin (May 16, 1936 - May 23, 2017) at the Trinidad Town Hall. Chi-wei was a community volunteer, artist, physician and Trinidad mayor with a long list of selfless accomplishments.
The 2pm service will be followed by a reception and artwork benefit from 3:30 to 5pm at the same location featuring these paintings and many more by Chi-wei. The proceeds from the sale of the paintings will benefit the Land Trust in efforts to maintain trails and beaches, and the Civic Club in efforts to save the Memorial Lighthouse.
There are over 100 paintings ranging in price from $20 to $400. Any paintings remaining after the benefit will be hung at the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust's Simmons Gallery at 380 Janis Court for the month of November. Gallery hours Sat./Sun. 1-4pm
